I LOVE YOU FLOWERS

Like most little pink people my girls love to pick flowers from our garden.  These little treasures were given to mummy this morning amidst a game of cars (trikes) out on the back decking. The middle pink came running in, flowers in hand, and huge smile on her face.  "I love you Mummy".  Yup another perfect mummy moment to add to the list :O)

Lucky for me I love having flowers in the house - for some reason they just seem to make me happy. Doesn't matter to me if they're fabulous florist creations, supermarket posies or crunched up garden daisies.  Lately I've started to plant out more easy care flowering plants in our back garden, so we can have flowers inside all year round.  And that way little hands will always have something to pick and share. (That is not in any way related to their noses!)

  6. I love flowers in the house, too. Unfortunately, the weather over here at the moment is not being friendly to flowers :(

  7. On Saturday mornings my daughter and I go to our local markets and choose a bouquet of flowers together. It's our weekly ritual and when they are in the vase in the hallway, they remind me of us holding hands and her excitement. Very special indeed.

  10. I am so loving your blog design. Just gorgeous!

I am a serious flower lover and especially when they are given to me by my cherubs. I too love a picked flower much better than a picked nose!

  11. Gorgeous Caz, my littlest guy does this too. I have a special spot on the kitchen window sill for the "I love you" flowers. They always make me smile, even the tatty little dandelions :)

Hope you are having a great weekend Caz.

  14. I agree - something very calming and cheerful about flowers inside. I often have little shot glasses full on the windowsill as mine havn't yet worked out how to pick a stem long enough for anything else;) LOVE that you are planting plants with this mind - why didn't I think of that! I'm onto it now! Loving your new look too.

  17. Lovely grateful. My boys pick flowers too, even the weeds. Especially the weeds, come to think of it, as there aren't many flower beds around our neighbourhood (mostly natives).
