Cupcakes and Carpet

Yes, today I'm grateful for cupcakes and brand new crisp fresh carpets.

Middle pink made these adorable little cupcakes at a kinder friends birthday party this morning.  I could not believe how a gaggle of little pink and blue five year olds could be kept totally transfixed by the hostess for two solid hours creating these little masterpieces.  Cute factor - extreme.

And while we were away our friendly carpet layer started laying the first two room of brand new beautiful wool carpet on our floors.   Above the pinks are testing out it's dance worthy-ness while the worker bees finish off their job.  Next weekend the girls bedrooms and the playroom - yay!

Joining with the totally fabulous Maxabella Loves to share some grateful goodness.

  6. I'm doing 'cupcake decorating' at Badoo's upcoming party. I'm a bit scared now! They look so good!!!

New carpets. So lush! Don't make the same mistake I did and allow 'free access' to arts and crafts in the carpeted bedrooms! Disaster! (der... but you know how sometimes we mums lose our minds? That was one of those times.)

  9. When I first read the title of this post I was imagining cupcakes squished into carpet. Hope the last few comments, along with mine have not scared you too much... the carpet looks just gorgeous! We have no carpet in this house and I miss the warmth and cosiness that it brings. Enjoy!

  12. This cupcake decorating at parties must be all the rage now, as it's the second time I've seen it done in a week now! Wow, what a great idea!
I think they're superb looking cupcakes... they actually look way too cute to eat, peeking out of that box like that ;o)
New carpet is lovely underfoot... a playroom... now that would be a nice thing to have. Maybe one day.
